There are 2 observation points in Amirim overlooking the spectacular view of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee), The Golan Heights and Lower Galilee.
“Mitzpe Menchem”, The Menachem Observation Point, at the end of the uppermost road in Amirim is named after the late Menachem Kashtan, a pilot and son of Amirim who fell in the Yom Kippur war. Here are placed a monument and a special rock in his memory.
“Mitzpe Kinneret in memory of Yitzhak Rabin” is at the end of the road leading from the entrance to the village. Every year at this observation point, in the months of July and August, “Sunset Concerts” are held on Friday evenings at sunset – providing a special experience with participants sitting on the grass, overlooking the beautiful view of the Kinneret while listening to excellent music.
